These Terms apply to all reservations made and services offered by Summer Legacy for reservations made online, by phone, text message, email, or any other means of communication:
CANCELLATION
For any cancellation made by the Customer, cancellation fees
do not apply unless the cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before departure
(pickup), in which case a penalty of 100% of the total fare may be applied.
STRIKES OR PROTESTS
The Transfer Service assumes no responsibility for arrivals/departures affected by strikes or protests.
TERRORIST ACTS OR WAR
The transfer service accepts no responsibility for any arrivals/departures affected by acts of war or terrorism worldwide.
SMOKING
Customers are asked to observe the rule prohibiting smoking in our transport vehicles.
TRAVELLING WITH CHILDREN
When booking, please indicate the number of
children (as well as their age/weight) who are travelling, so that we can, whenever
possible, reserve an appropriate baby seat or booster seat. It is always the
responsibility of those accompanying the children to provide this information in
advance, in accordance with the law.
UNACCOMPANIED MINORS
Summer Legacy welcomes the opportunity to
serve younger guests when accompanied by a responsible adult, but does not accept
reservations for unaccompanied children under the age of 13.
USER ERROR
The customer is responsible for providing accurate information
when making a reservation. When this information is provided, Summer Legacy
believes it to be true and accurate, and is therefore not responsible for any errors in the
confirmation email or telephone contacts that may occur.
OPENING HOURS
24 hours a day, every day of the year. Customers are advised to be punctual at the times indicated.
TRANSPORTATION:
The transfer service is private.
LATE ARRIVALS:
Summer Legacy assumes no responsibility for late arrivals
exceeding one hour from the scheduled arrival time. If customers arrive extremely
late, whenever possible the company will attempt to pick up the customer, but without
any obligation. If the Transfer is unable to pick up the customer due to flight
problems, all refund claims must be addressed to the airline in question, in accordance
with European legislation.
LUGGAGE
Formerly by Summer Legacy. Passengers are fully responsible for the
contents of their luggage, as well as for any administrative, civil, criminal or tax issues
that may arise, in accordance with current legislation. Passengers have to be aware
that it´s strictly forbidden to transport goods that are associated with trade, smuggling,
or misappropriation.
LUGGAGE RESPONSIBILITY
Damaged items and natural wear and tear of
personal items are typical of the handling process during transportation. The
transportation of large items, such as luggage, may result in scratches and dents.
Summer Legacy and its operators are not responsible for damage such as broken
handles/straps, broken wheels, or damaged suitcase feet, or damage incurred as a
result of excess baggage, improperly packed items, or fragile items. It is the
customer´s responsibility to ensure that any belongings stored in the main
compartment of the vehicle are properly packed, and that any fragile items are
protected during transport. The customer must report significant damage to any
personal items while using the service immediately to Customer Service via email at
info@arbntaxi.com. In such cases, Summer Legacy will report the situation under its
liability insurance policy. Any lost items found on board the transport vehicles will be
returned to headquarters. The transfer service assumes no responsibility for lost/stolen
or damaged luggage in its vehicles or during transport and delivery.
PROHIBITED HAZARDOUS ITEMS
For safety reasons, items such as the
following must not be carried in your baggage, unless they have been declared in
writing: loaded firearms, corrosive materials, explosives (fireworks and highly
flammable items), flammable liquids and solids, toxic and infectious substances,
radioactive materials, gases (high-temperature, refrigeration, tablets, flammable, non-
flammable, and poisonous). Other dangerous goods (such as offensive or harmful
materials).
Private Tour Service:
This is an on-demand, fixed-price, door-to-door PRIVATE
service reserved for individual groups. A group is defined as one or more people
travelling together from the same departure point (pick-up) to the same destination
(drop-off) and for the same tour program. The private tour includes the provision of
transportation to one or more destinations for a predefined period. Tours are
conducted in cars, buses, minibuses, vans or sedans with a capacity of 4 to 70
passengers, at the discretion of the company and according to the number of people.
PAYMENT / CANCELLATION
All services must be booked / paid for before
they are provided. For any cancellation made by the customer less than 24 hours in
advance, fees amounting to 100% of the total fare will be applied.
SERVICES INCLUDED
All tour services include private tours, door-to-door
service with driver. Food and entrance fees to monuments are not included in the price
of each tour.
AVAILABILITY
Tours are subject to vehicle availability. At the time of booking,
availability will be assessed, and it is Summer Legacy responsibility to inform the
customer of any unavailability and offer alternative dates up to 24 hours in advance of
the booking date.
DRIVER
The transport vehicle has a qualified professional to drive the vehicle. The
driver may or may not have guide qualities, which include the ability to lead the group
and provide information about the specific attractions defined in the tour.
BOARDING OUTSIDE THE ALGARVE
The group is allowed to board outside the Algarve. The customer must report for a review of costs depending
ADVERSE CONDITIONS
Summer Legacy does not cancel tours or provide
refunds due to weather conditions, unless these conditions make it impossible for the
vehicle to circulate.
